Depression & Relationship Counselling Services was founded on a simple idea: therapy should meet you where you are, with clear guidance and respectful, personalized support. For over 22 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families across Windsor and Windsor-Essex, offering practical, insight-driven support.
Every session is grounded in genuine listening, strategizing, and real-world tools. Whether you’re navigating a personal challenge or working through something with a partner or family member, the goal is always the same: helping you feel more like yourself again.
I hold a 5-year psychology degree from the U of Windsor and a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have practiced for 22+, years working with individuals, families, and couples. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. I provide a client-tailored approach as unique as each individual.
I believe you and your therapist should work collaboratively, and I will take the time to fully help you gain necessary insights into your life. I want to help you understand your motivations and tailor a direct, but empathetic solution -focused approach. We will work together to find the patterns behind behaviour and apply practical tools to see real world change. At Depression & Relationship Counselling you can be confident that I have an extensive clinical background as well as the life experience to understand YOU, and not just your situation.

Who I Work With
Whether you’re navigating something on your own or working through it with the people closest to you, there’s a place for you here.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding why people feel and think the way they do and how much relief comes from being heard and understood. Over time, that curiosity turned into a career built around helping people find clarity in their most difficult moments.
I take an insight and solution oriented approach. That means we spend time understanding the pattern behind what you’re experiencing, then work together on practical steps forward. I don’t believe therapy needs to be an open-ended, years-long commitment to be effective.
The first session is about me getting to know your story. A regular therapy “hour” is typically 50-55 minutes, including payment and scheduling another appointment. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out, we’ll work through it together.
Yes. I see individuals working through personal challenges, couples and partners navigating relationship issues, and families dealing with parenting or communication concerns. Each situation gets an approach tailored to their unique situation.
That really depends on what you’re working through, how long it’s been present, and how consistently we meet. Some clients see real progress in a handful of sessions, others prefer ongoing support. We’ll talk about what makes sense for you as we go.
Watching someone go from feeling stuck to feeling like themselves again. That shift, however it happens, is the reason I’ve stayed in this work for more than 22 years.
Reaching out is often the hardest step, and the most important one. Let’s talk about what’s going on and find a path forward together.
What you share stays between us, in a space built on trust and respect.
An approach built on understanding the pattern behind the problem, and practical tools you can use right away.
Day, evening, and crisis appointments are available, because support shouldn't be on a rigid schedule.
More than 22 years supporting individuals, couples, and families throughout Windsor and Windsor-Essex.
